Using a Template

Below the COMP37111 page but using a template to handle the layout. My question is whether or not this is a good idea. Currently I can see the advantage will be consistent style, which can be updated for all module pages simultaneously. My only current concern is that it may reduce flexibility, although it should be pretty easy to add a section to the template.

Thoughts?

Advanced Computer Graphics

Overview

Following on from Graphics in the second year, this module covers modelling and image synthesis in great depth. This module also focusses a little more on the issues of rendering in real-time. The modelling portion covers the acquisition of models (through techniques such as laser scanning) and non-polygonal modelling techniques (such as procedural modelling and particle systems). The image synthesis portion covers topics such as global illumination, ray-tracing and volume rendering.

There are weekly lectures and there is also a lab, intended to take roughly ten hours, which involves the creation of a particle system.

Pre-Requisites

These are not necessarily the official pre-requisites, they are pages and modules considered to be helpful in understanding this module. For the official pre-requisites, see the COMP37111 Syllabus page.
