The Newsagent article edit page is almost identical to the compose page. In fact, everything covered in the documentation for the compose page applies to the edit page, and only two new options are added on the edit page:

Notifications and editing
Notifications need to be handled carefully when editing articles. If you create an article and set up notifications for it, and then edit the article before those notifications have been sent, the edit article's notifications will be cancelled and new ones created for the new version. However, if you edit an article after its notifications have been sent, unless you turn off any notification options, new notifications will be created and sent for the new version of the article.
Essentially, if you are looking at the article list page and an article shows "Email: Sent <time>", if you edit that article you'll need to be sure to turn off any notifications set for it, or new ones will be sent. If you do not want new notifications to be sent, turn off any notifications set!
| This behaviour is currently under review, and it is expected that it will be changed so that editing an article with sent notifications will automatically turn off notifications for the edit. |
